Stay Healthy with Right Kind of Shoes

Do not buy shoes that don’t fit you well. This is because your feet will shrink and make you feel uncomfortable always. Some have a misconception that it is chic to suffer for fashion. But living with corns, hammer toes, bunions, ingrown toe nails and shortened calf muscles do not sound healthy for your feet. You can face these afflictions when you opt to wear stilettos instead of flats.

Stay Healthy

According to last year reports from American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, 21 percent of women who wore high heels to work compared to 34 percent some 10 years ago are opting for sensible shoes. So make sure you follow these guidelines while buying shoes.

You should have a gap of ½ inch between your biggest toe to the end of your shoe. Make sure you are comfortable when you stand up and buy shoes at the end of the day when your feet are largest. Measure both your feet-they might not be same always.
